MEET RESULTSThe women's swimming team fell to Bard College, 108-99, on Friday evening at Annandale-on-Hudson, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 2-3 overall. The Raptors improve to 2-9 on the season.
Senior
Kaylie Bruce and sophomore
Bokey Wong led the Bloodhounds with two individual wins. Wong placed first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:24.03) and the 500-yard freestyle (6:40.71). Bruce finished in first in the 100-yard butterfly (1:17.86) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:29.18).
Freshman
Christina Parthenis swam the 1000-yard freestyle in 15:30.29, good for first-place. Freshman
Heather Chrisman recorded a first-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25:95.
John Jay registered wins in both relays. The tandem of Chrisman, Bruce, freshman Lin Wei Ma, and senior
Andrea Antoni swam the 400-yard medley relay in 5:07.02. In the final event of the meet, the 400-yard freestyle relay, the tandem of freshman
Tania Yanez, Parthenis, Wong, and Chrisman finished in 4:35.61.
The Bloodhounds host the College of Staten Island on Tuesday, December 1, for a conference match at 6:00 pm at the John Jay Pool.
