Chrisman Registers Three First Place Finishes as Women's Swimming Loses to Lehman Lightning

The women's swimming team fell to Lehman College, 120-86, on Tuesday evening at the APEX on the campus of Lehman College. The Bloodhounds drop to 2-6 overall and 1-3 in the CUNYAC. The Lightning improve to 4-3 on the year and 1-2 in the conference. 

Freshman Heather Chrisman led the Bloodhounds with three first-place finishes. Chrisman swam the 1000-yard freestyle in 12:42.24, the 50-yard freestyle in 26.29, and the  100-yard butterfly in 1:16.08.

Freshman Lin Wei Ma placed first in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 7:09.23. She also recorded two second-place finishes (200-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle). In addition, senior Kaylie Bruce placed second in the 200-yard IM (2:49.73) and 100-yard backstroke (1:16.57). 

The Bloodhounds return to the John Jay Pool on Wednesday, January 20, when they host the College of New Rochelle at 6:00 pm.
