The women's soccer team defeated Medgar Evers, 12-1, on Wednesday afternoon at Aviator Field in Brooklyn, NY. The Bloodhounds improve to 6-12 overall and end the season with a CUNYAC record of 2-4. The Cougars drop to 0-12 on the season and 0-6 in the conference. 

John Jay scored six goals in each half. The Bloodhounds outshot the hosts by a margin of 29-2. 

Sophomore May Dempsey recorded her first hat trick of the season. Junior Zola Campbell and sophomores Kali Moss and Cayleen Young registered two goals each. Junior Marley Norton finished with a goal and a team-high two assists. Senior Jessica Jean picked up a goal. Junior Kelli Doherty made one save to pick up her sixth victory of the season. 

The Bloodhounds close out the season on Saturday, October 28, against Bryn Mawr College at 2:00 pm.
