Women's Swim Loses to Brooklyn College

The women's swimming team fell to Brooklyn College, 105-87, on Friday evening in Brooklyn, NY. The Bloodhounds drop to 0-3 overall and in the conference. The Bulldogs improve to 1-1 overall and in CUNYAC. 

John Jay's first individual first place finish came in the third event, 200-yard freestyle, when junior Christina Parthenis finished in a time of 2:45.24. In the next event, 50-yard freestyle, junior Diana Rodriguez placed first in 32.86. 

Junior Bokey Wong then recorded a first-place finish in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:40.70. In the ninth event, 100-yard backstroke, Mavis Ma placed first in 1:15.48. John Jay's last first-place finish came when Wong won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:22.72.

The Bloodhounds host St. Joseph's College Brooklyn on Monday, November 28, at 6:00 pm at the John Jay Pool.
