The men's soccer team fell twice on Friday and Saturday at the CSI Tournament in Staten Island. The Bloodhounds lost to Penn State Behrand, 5-0, and Rowan University, 6-0.
On the Friday match against the Lions of Penn State, junior Alexander Taliotis recorded a season-high 16 saves. Freshman
Armin Sabovic registered a team-high two shots. Sophomore
Robert Lago recorded the Bloodhounds' lone shot on goal.
On Saturday against the Profs of Rowan, Taliotis made 12 saves. Freshman
Roodjerry Guerrier picked up John Jay's only shot.
The Bloodhounds will look to rebound on Tuesday September, 13, when they host Wesleyan University at 7:00 pm at Randall's Island Field 75.
