Box Score The men's soccer team tied the College of Staten Island, 0-0, on Wednesday afternoon in Staten Island. The Bloodhounds finish with its best season in program history with an overall record of 8-6-1 and conference record of 6-1-1. The Dolphins finish at 9-5-2 and 4-3-1 in CUNYAC. 

The Dolphins controlled most of the play as the hosts outshot John Jay by a margin of 21-7 in the first two halves. In the second overtime, John Jay outshot the Dolphins 2-1. 

Freshman Steven Towler recorded his first collegiate shutout making eight saves. Freshman Samboudiang Faye led John Jay with three shots. Senior Oscar Barrientos and freshman Mark Shnadshteyn registered two shots each. 

The Bloodhounds have already secured the second seed in the upcoming CUNYAC postseason. John Jay will host the winner of the #3 / #6 match on Saturday, October 28, at Randall's Island. Game time and field number will be posted in the coming days.
