Box Score The women's basketball team lost to the College of Staten Island, 104-41, on Saturday afternoon at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds fall to 0-6 on the season and 0-1 in the conference. The Dolphins improve to 5-1 and 1-0 in CUNYAC.

Kaitlin Koehler was two rebounds shy of a double-double with a team-high 14 points, eight boards, and a team-high two steals. Freshman
Jessica Gorman finished with seven points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Junior
Christianne Perez totaled eight points and five rebounds. Senior
Dana Nicholson added seven points, two rebounds, and a steal.
With the Bloodhounds trailing by two early on in the opening quarter, Koehler drained a three to give John Jay a one-point lead. The Dolphins responded on a 30-3 run and led 35-12 at the end of one. At the half, the Bloodhounds trailed 68-20.
The Bloodhounds scored 15 points in the final quarter as Koehler and Gorman scored six points each in the second half.
John Jay finished 14-for-53 (26.4%) from the field, 3-for-25 (12.0%) from behind the arc, and 10-for-20 (50.0%) from the free-throw line.
