Box Score The women's basketball team fell to Hunter College, 94-33, on Friday evening at the Hunter Sportsplex. The Bloodhounds fall to 0-7 on the year and 0-2 in conference play. The Hawks improve to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in CUNYAC.

Kaitlin Koehler led the way with a team-high 12 points, five rebounds, and a team-high two assists. Senior

Jessica Gorman totaled 17 points and four boards. Freshman
Jeles Williams grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
Koehler's layup early on in the first quarter tied up the game. The Hawks followed on a 15-2 run to lead 17-4. Koehler ended the period with a jumper to trail 20-10. A layup by Nicholson in the second cut the deficit to 13. John Jay went into halftime trailing 43-19.
The Bloodhounds scored seven points in both the third and fourth quarters.
John Jay went 12-for-51 (23.5%) from the field, 2-for-15 (13.3%) from behind the arc, and 7-for-11 (63.6%) from the free-throw line.
The Bloodhounds travel to St. Joseph's Long Island on Tuesday, December 12, for a non-conference game at 6:00 pm.
