The baseball team came from behind to defeat Manhattanville College, 9-6, on Saturday afternoon in Purchase, NY. The Bloodhounds improve to 5-11 on the season. The Valiants drop to 8-11 overall.
Manhattanville opened the scoring in the first inning with two runs. In the top of the third, sophomore

Brian Garcia, and senior
R.J. Davila all picked up RBI singles to give the Bloodhounds a 3-2 lead. In the bottom half of the inning, the Valiants regained the lead after plating two runs. The hosts added to their lead in the fourth after scoring two to lead 6-3.
In the top of the fifth with the bases loaded and one out, sophomore
Jurrel Diaz drilled a grand slam to right field to give the Bloodhounds a 7-6. advantage. John Jay added two insurance runs in the eighth on a two-out two-run single by senior
Dylan Laudano.
Freshman
Sean Napier picked up his first win of the season after coming in in relief and delivering six innings, allowing seven hits, two runs, and struck out four.

Zach Hyde recorded a stolen base apiece.
