The women's soccer team shutout Brooklyn College, 4-0, in their CUNYAC opener on Wednesday afternoon at Randall's Island. The Bloodhounds improve to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs drop to 0-4 and 0-1 in conference play.

The Bloodhounds outshot Brooklyn by a margin of 13-2. Senior
Kelli Doherty made two saves in the period.
Seven minutes into the second half, Robledo registered her second goal of the season and fourth of the year on a loose ball inside the box. Roughly 20 minutes later, Vasquez netted her second of the game on a cross by senior
Zola Campbell.
John Jay recorded 20 shots and 15 shots on goal. Doherty picked up her third shutout of the year on three saves. Robeldo finished with five shots and four shots on goal. Talbat had three shots on goal.
The Bloodhounds travel to SUNY New Paltz on Friday, September 15, for a non-conference match at 4:00 pm.
