Box Score The women's basketball team fell to Lehman College, 100-49, on Saturday afternoon in the Bronx. The Bloodhounds drop to 1-19 on the year and 1-11 in the conference. The Lightning improve to 12-9 and 8-4 in CUNYAC.

Aliya Lipton led John Jay with a season-high and team-high 11 points, three rebounds, and a pair of steals. Senior
Dana Nicholson recorded nine points, a team-high eight boards, and a team-high four assists. Junior
Christianne Perez registered nine points and four boards. Sophomore
Kaitlin Koehler added six points and six rebounds. Freshman
Jessica Gorman came off the bench to contribute seven points, six rebounds, and two assists.Â
Lipton opened the game with a jumper but the Lightning scored six straight until Lipton made another jumper to the cut the deficit to two. Leading 8-6, Lehman scored 18 straight but Lipton responded with a three-pointer. At the end of the first, the Lightning led 35-9. The Bloodhounds scored 16 points in the second quarter and trailed 67-25 at halftime.Â
The Bloodhounds recorded 11 points in the third and outscored the hosts by a margin of 13-12 in the final period.Â
John Jay went 16-for-51 (31.4%) from the floor, 5-for-14 (35.7%) from behind the arc, and 12-for-24 (50.0%) from the free-throw line.Â
