Box Score The women's basketball team fell to Green Mountain College, 64-48, on Wednesday evening at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds drop to 1-20 on the season. The Eagles improve to 5-14.

Dana Nicholson finished two rebounds shy of a double-double with a team-high 15 points, a season-high eight rebounds, and three assists. Sophomore
Kaitlin Koehler added eight points, six boards, three assists, a season-high and game-high three blocks, and a season-high and game-high three steals. Junior
Aliya Lipton contributed 10 points, four rebounds, and a pair of steals. Freshman
Jessica Gorman grabbed eight boards and freshman
Shaquana Vaughn came off the bench to add six points.
With John Jay trailing 10-4, Nicholson hit back-to-back three's to tie the score. Heading into the second, both teams had 12 points. Down by three, Lipton drained a three-pointer. The Eagles followed with eight straight points but a jumper by rookie
Kayla Talbot cut the deficit to 23-17 at halftime.
Lipton and Koehler opened the third period with two straight baskets to cut Green Mountain's lead down to two. With the Eagles up by five, the visitors ended the quarter on a 9-2 run to lead 47-35.
Five minutes into the fourth, the Eagles increased its lead to 18. The Bloodhounds finished the period scoring 12 points.
John Jay finished 19-for-63 (30.2%) from the floor, 5-for-23 (21.7%) from behind the arc, and 4-for-10 (40.0%) from the free-throw line.
