Katie Healy & Anneliese Tucci Score Two Goals Each in 6-1 Rout at Saint Elizabeth, Mirka Villarreal Records First Collegiate Goal

The women's soccer team rolled past the College of Saint Elizabeth, 6-1, on Wednesday afternoon in Morristown, NJ. The Bloodhounds are now over .500 at 5-4-1 on the year. The Eagles drop to 2-8 overall. 

Freshman Anneliese Tucci recorded her first two goals of her collegiate career. Rookie Katie Healy finished with two goals, one assist, a match-high six shots, and match-high four shots on goal. Healy now has six goals and five assists on the season. 

Freshman Gianna Russo picked up her team-leading eighth goal and freshman Mirka Villarreal netted her first collegiate goal. Sophomore Kristalina Banuelos and freshmen Lily Collins and Cynthia Madrid collected assists in the contest. 

Freshman Brittany Shaneberger tallied her fifth win of the year after making two saves. 

The Bloodhounds host Medgar Evers on Saturday, October 6, for a conference match at 2:00 pm at Randall's Island Field 83. Before the match, the Athletics Department will honor seniors Ysabelle Francis, Radhika Gafur, and Irene Prentzas as part of senior day.
