The rifle team returned from winter break with a pair of losses to the United States Coast Guard Academy. The Bloodhounds fell in air rifle, 2302-2257, and smallbore, 2266-2125. The matches are both considered NCAA only.
In air, junior
Lily Graham led the squad firing a team-high 575. Sophomores
Eliza Kotowska and
Susana Sanchez finished tied for second with a score of 564. Rounding out the top four was junior
Ida Sato with a 554.
In smallbore, Graham was the top scorer for John Jay recording a 553. Sophomore
Marc Suda and Sanchez tied for second registering a 526. Kotowska placed fourth on the team with a score of 520.
The Bloodhounds travel to Cambridge, MA to take on Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on Saturday, February 10.
