Baseball Loses to St. Joseph's College Long Island

Box Score The baseball team fell to St. Joseph's College Long Island, 19-3, on Saturday afternoon in Patchogue, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 1-7 on the season. The Golden Eagles improve to 4-7. 

John Jay opened the scoring in the first inning with three runs. Sophomore Sean Napier and senior Brian Garcia reached on singles and scored on a two-run triple by senior Ryan Osborne. Junior William De La Cruz then drove in Osborne on a sacrifice fly. 

Osborne finished 2-for-4 with two RBI's and a run scored. Napier went 2-for-2 with a run. 

The Bloodhounds return to action on Sunday, March 18, when they face the College of New Rochelle for a doubleheader at Purchase College. First pitch is scheduled for 1:30 pm.
