Men's Tennis Loses to Rutgers-Newark; Kim Records Two Victories

Box Score The men's tennis team fell to Rutgers-Newark, 6-3, on Friday afternoon in Newark, NJ. The Bloodhounds drop to 3-4 overall. The Scarlet Raiders improve to 2-6. 

For the second straight day, the combo of freshman Sean Kim and sophomore Mauricio Ramos came out with the victory in three doubles by a score of 8-3. After doubles play, John Jay trailed 2-1. 

At the second spot, sophomore Michael Barkagan was victorious 6-4, 6-3. The Bloodhounds' other victory came at #4 when Kim came out on top 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 for his second win of the afternoon. 

The Bloodhounds travel to Lehman College on Saturday, April 14, for a CUNYAC match at 2:00 pm.
