Box Score The men's tennis team defeated York College, 7-2, on Friday afternoon in Jamaica, NY. The Bloodhounds improve to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Cardinals drop to 0-1 overall and in conference play. 

John Jay swept all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead heading into singles. Junior Oleh Mir and freshman Sean Kim won a back-and-forth match at first doubles by a score of 9-8. At #2, sophomores Michael Barkagan and Mauricio Ramos came out on top 8-3. At third, senior Jowel Ahmed and junior Kevin LaTorre cruised to an 8-3 victory. 

In singles, Mir won at the top spot, 6-3, 6-1. Barkagan (#2), Kim (#4), and Ramos (#6) all were victorious in straight sets. 

The Bloodhounds face Baruch College on Tuesday, April 10, for a conference match at 6:30 pm at Alley Pond Tennis Center in Queens Village, NY.
