Box Score 2 The softball team fell to the College of New Rochelle, 22-5 and 10-1, on Friday afternoon at Fordham University in the Bronx. The Bloodhounds drop to 3-15 on the season. The Blue Angels improve to 13-9.
In game one, sophomore
Mariela Guzman went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored. Senior
Lisa Pellegrino finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and sophomore
Jessica Barbaria recorded her second homer of the season. Sophomore
Marissa Artz was 1-for-3 with two RBI's and a run scored.
In game two, freshman
Tommi Mandell finished 2-for-3 with a triple and run scored. Barbaria and sophomore
Karen Rosario registered a double each.
The Bloodhounds face Baruch College on Thursday, April 13, for a conference match starting at 3:30 pm at Randall's Island Field 12.
