The men's soccer team fell to the College of New Rochelle, 4-2, on Wednesday afternoon at Randall's Island. The Bloodhounds drop to 1-1 on the year. The Blue Angels improve to 2-1.
In the eighth minute, sophomore
James Haddad scored his first goal of the season after converting on a breakaway. New Rochelle answered with two goals and led 2-1 heading into halftime.
Ten minutes into the second period, the guests scored its third goal but Haddad quickly responded with his second goal of the contest to cut the deficit to 3-2. With just under 10 minutes remaining in the contest, the Blue Angels tallied an insurance goal to go on for the non-conference win.

Andrew DeCanio finished with three shots each.
The Bloodhounds hit the road on Saturday, September 8, when they travel to Ramapo College at 1:00 pm.
