The men's soccer team lost to Hunter College, 1-0, on an overcast and windy Wednesday afternoon at Randall's Island.
The Bloodhounds fall to 5-8 on the year and 3-3 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Hawks improve to 5-7-1 overall and 4-1 in conference play.
The lone goal of the match came in the fifth minute of play. Freshman
Sam Hampson got the start for John Jay and finished with three saves.
Junior
Mark Shnadshteyn registered a team-high four shots and two shots on goal.
The Bloodhounds travel to Lehman College on Saturday, October 19, for their conference finale at 12:00 pm.
