The women's basketball team fell to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), 94-61, on Wednesday evening in Troy, NY. The Bloodhounds drop to 0-2 on the season. The Engineers improve to 1-1 overall.

RPI held a 47-25 lead at the half. The hosts outscored the Bloodhounds 21-20 in the fourth quarter.
John Jay finished 15-for-67 (22.22%) from the floor, 5-for-17 (29.4%) from behind the arc, and 26-for-41 (63.4%) from the free-throw line.
The Bloodhounds travel to St. Joseph's College Long Island on Saturday, November 16, for a non-conference game at 1:00 pm.
