The top seeded women's soccer team powered past #4 Brooklyn College, 8-0, in the CUNYAC semifinals on Saturday afternoon at Randall's Island. The Bloodhounds improve to 11-6-1 on the season. The Bulldogs end their season with an overall record of 4-12-1.

Kimberly Robledo recorded her third collegiate hat trick to lead the offense for John Jay. Freshman
Alexandra Dadario notched her first two-goal game of her college career. Sophomore
Anneliese Tucci notched a goal and an assist.
"I am so happy and proud of this team and what we have accomplished," Robledo said. "This team has been more determined than ever to win a championship and the way we performed against Brooklyn demonstrated that. Within that game, we were able to combine passes and find the back of the net. We played to our strengths which allows for us to be the best team we can be."

Kristalina Banuelos tallied a goal and freshman
Jillian Golden picked up a career-high three assists.
John Jay dominated the entire game as they outshot the Bulldogs 28-1. The Bloodhounds scored two goals in the first half and then broke open the game with three goals in the first 15 minutes of the second period.
Before the match, CUNYAC Commissioner Zak Ivkovic presented the team with the Regular Season Championship trophy for the first time in program history.
The Bloodhounds return to the CUNYAC Championship for the second straight year and will look for its first CUNYAC Title. This time, they will face off against No. 3 City College of New York (CCNY) on Saturday, November 9, at 2:00 pm, on the campus of Brooklyn College.
