The men's tennis team lost to Hunter College, 6-3, on Saturday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY. The Bloodhounds drop to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Hawks improve to 2-2 and remain undefeated in conference play at 2-0.
John Jay trailed Hunter 2-1 heading into singles play. At the top spot, the duo of freshmen
Ahror Muminov and
Terry Park came out on top 8-2.
In singles, Park collected his second victory of the day after winning at the second spot in straight sets 6-0, 6-2. Junior
Michael Barkagan also picked up a win at two.
The Bloodhounds host York College on Saturday, March 30, at 12:00 pm at the USTA National Tennis Center.
