Baseball Closes Out Season with Loss at CSI Dolphins; Jeremy Scheetz Allows One Earned Run in Five Innings

In the final game of the 2019 season, the baseball team fell to the College of Staten Island, 9-2, on Monday evening at the CSI Baseball Complex in Staten Island, NY. The Bloodhounds close out the season 12-27 overall and 3-9 in CUNYAC. The Dolphins advance to the CUNYAC Postseason after finishing 16-20 and 8-4 in the conference. 

Senior Steven Catuogno finished 1-for-3 with a double and a pair of stolen bases. Senior Anthony Liriano and junior Sean Napier picked up a hit each. 

Senior Jeremy Scheetz logged five innings, allowing four hits, one earned run, and no walks. 

This game turned out to be the final one of Christopher Arnaud, Steven Catuogno, Jurrel Diaz, Zach Hyde, Anthony Liriano, and Jeremy Scheetz's collegiate career. The Athletics Department wishes them the best of luck in the future!
