The rifle team took home the MAC Rifle Smallbore Championship after defeating SUNY Plattsburgh, 2117-1828, on Saturday on the campus of MIT in Cambridge, MA. 

It is the Bloodhounds' 15th championship, which is the most in school history. 

Senior Eliza Kotowska led John Jay with a match-high and personal-best score of 549. Junior Michael Hyde finished right behind in second registering a 536. Freshman Eric Lopez placed third with a 529, followed by sophomore Izadora Zetola with a score of 503.
