JAMAICA, NY -- For the fourth consecutive season, the women's tennis team has finished above .500 in conference play as the Bloodhounds defeated York College, 6-3, in a CUNYAC matchup on Friday evening in Jamaica, NY. John Jay finishes the season 4-5 overall (3-2 CUNYAC), while the Cardinals finish the year 0-4 (0-4 CUNYAC).

Jasmin Vargas both shutout their opponents in the first and second doubles spots.
Moi, Himaya, & Vargas all swept their opponents in singles matchups, to give John Jay five points in the match, and sophomore
Nikhar Rathi also swept her opponent in the third singles spot to give John Jay a 6-3 win.
The Bloodhounds enter the CUNYAC/HSS Women's Tennis Championship as the #3 seed and will square off in a rematch against #6 York College on Sunday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center.
