RESULTS
WAYNE, NJ -- The women's swim team dropped a pair of non-conference matches on Saturday afternoon on the campus of William Paterson. The Bloodhounds fell to William Paterson, 76-23, and Maritime College, 63-22. John Jay is now 1-4 on the season.
In the first event, the 200 medley relay, the tandem of freshman
Maireen Coronado, freshman
Alissa McCurchin, freshman
Alejandra Rojas, and sophomore
Diana Castellanos finished in third in a time of 2:42.37.
In the 200-free, freshman
Camelia Achury recorded a third-place finish with a time of 2:20.18. Graduate student
Kelly Lennon picked up a third-place finish in the 50 free in 26.79.
John Jay's best finish of the afternoon came in the 100 free when Lennon placed second with a time of 58.94. In the final event of the day, the 200 free relay, the combination of freshman
Miriam Zayed, Achury, Lennon, and freshman
Anika Amdahl finished second in a time of 2:04.41.
The Bloodhounds travel to Baruch College on Wednesday, December 8, for a CUNYAC match at 6:00 pm.
