RESULTS
NEW YORK, NY -- The women's swim team competed in their first home meet in the brand new state-of-the-art John Jay Pool in almost four years. However, the Bloodhounds fell to Hunter College, 48-38. John Jay drops to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the CUNY Athletic Conference.
The Bloodhounds' first victory of the evening came in the third event, the 200-free, when graduate student
Kelly Lennon finished first in a time of 2:11.81. In the 100-fly, freshman
Camelia Achury placed first overall with a time of 1:08.44. In the next event, the 100-free, Lennon picked up her second first-place finish in 58.38.
The Bloodhounds travel to Wayne, NJ on Saturday, November 13, to take on William Paterson and Maritime College at 1:00 pm.
