KANSAS CITY, MO. – Assistant Athletics Director for Academic Success, Compliance, & Eligibility
Deanna Sannuti was selected to attend the NCAA/Women Leaders in College Sports Institute for Administrative Advancement (IAA).
The NCAA/Women Leaders in College Sports Institute for Administrative Advancement (IAA) is the premier 'level one' leadership development program for women in intercollegiate athletics administration. An engaging faculty—including leaders representing all NCAA divisions and pioneers in women's athletics—prepare, empower and inspire participants to become successful administrators and advance within the profession.
"It was an honor to be selected for the Women Leaders in College Sport Institute for Administrative Advancement," said Sannuti. "I spent four days with some of the strongest women leaders in college sports! I was able to learn about different programs across different campuses and come back to John Jay with some amazing ideas to help our student-athletes grow. Learning how to grow my career and further my education was such a blessing. I am so grateful I was able to connect with Women Leaders from Division I to Division III."
Sannuti was one of 75 nationwide selections to partake in this symposium. Programming goals for the IAA include improving the skills specific to athletic administration (fundraising, sports supervision, crisis management); developing strategies to determine ones path forward toward career advancement; creating a new accountability network of women who will support one in their career path; and discovering the best version of professional and personal self.
