NEW YORK, NY - The women's swimming team returned to the pool less than 24 hours after yesterday's meet against Baruch, and split a conference dual meet against Brooklyn College and Hunter College on Senior Day. John Jay defeated the Brookyln College Bulldogs, 65-19, but fell to the Hunter College Hawks, 71-21. After splitting the event, the Bloodhounds are now 2-6 (1-3 CUNYAC) on the season. Meanwhile, Hunter improves to 7-3 on the year while Brooklyn falls to 1-4 (1-3 CUNYAC).
Senior
Kelly Lennon was the performer of the meet for the Bloodhounds, notching two first places finishes. In the third event of the night, she took home first place in the 200 free, clocking in with a time of 2:15.43. She then followed that up with a first place finish in the 100 back, finishing with a mark of 1:07.44.
In time trials to finish up the competition, John Jay's 400-yard medley and free relay teams both defeated Brooklyn College to end the night on a strong note.
Before the competition, the Bloodhounds celebrated the careers of its three seniors:
Maireen Coronado,
Alejandra Rojas, and

The Bloodhounds will participate in their final regular season meet of the season on Monday, January 24 when they will travel to the Bronx to take on Lehman College. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
