Women's Swimming Falls To William Paterson On Friday Evening

New York, NY - The John Jay women's swimming team fell to the William Paterson Pioneers, 58-36, on Friday evening from the John Jay Pool. 
 
With the loss, the Bloodhounds fall to 1-7 on the season while the Pioneers move to 7-5. 
 
John Jay took the 200 Yard Medley relay, as the quartet of Andreea Gheorghe, Anika Amdahl, Cami Achury, and Miranda Perez touched the wall in 2:09.75. 
 
The same four also took the 200 Yard Freestyle relay with a time of 1:55.77. 
 
Rina Yamamoto finished first in the 100 Yard Breaststroke, posting a finals time of 1:41.19 while teammate Ling Hung notched a time of 2:10.64. 
 
The Bloodhounds return to the pool on Thursday, January 12 when they resume CUNYAC action on the road at Brooklyn College. 
 
The meet is slated for a 6:00 p.m. start.
