During his tenure, the program finished 22-21 in CUNYAC play and appeared in the semifinals during the 2010-11 season.

Prior to the Salisbury School, Williams served as the director of player development and coaches consultant for the Saint Peter's women's basketball team for the 2020-21 season. He also helped coach the Peacocks to their first MAAC Championship game since 2002.

Williams also spent time at CCNY, where he was the Head Women's Basketball Coach/Strength & Conditioning Coach for a year and helped lead the Beavers to the CUNYAC postseason. Before arriving at CCNY, he served as the Athletic Administrator/Event Game Manager/Head Women's Basketball Coach at Simmons University. During his time at Simmons, he led the Sharks to their first postseason appearance since 2010. He also has had stints at Pratt Institute and Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham.
