DANBURY, CT - The John Jay men's soccer team lost a non-conference contest to Western Connecticut State, 7-0, on Wednesday evening in Danbury, CT. With the loss, the Bloodhounds fall to 0-5 on the season while the Wolves improve to 7-0 on the year. 
 
John Jay's best chance of the day came in the 50th minute when sophomore Kevin Luciano fired towards the net, but the Wolves goalkeeper made a nice save to keep the Bloodhounds scoreless. John Jay notched seven total shots in the game, and two shots on goal. Sophomore Tyler Solis collected a career-high eight saves in the match. 
 
The Bloodhounds' road trip continues on Saturday, September 17 when they will travel to Glendale, PA to take on Arcadia University. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
