Patchogue, NY - The baseball team lost a pair of non-conference games to the College of Mount St. Vincent on Saturday afternoon at Baseball Heaven. The Bloodhounds fell by scores of 17-1 and 7-0. John Jay is now 1-6 on the season while the Dolphins improve to 2-2 overall.
In game one, sophomore
Anthony Agosta recorded a hit and an RBI while junior
Ryan Kilcarr scored the Bloodhounds' lone run. Junior
Michael Manzoeillo reached base twice via a single and a walk.
In the second game, sophomore
Michael Mauro,
Thomas Salerno, and
Ethan Simaan and freshman
John Spallin all picked up a hit each.
The Bloodhounds travel to New Jersey City University on Thursday, March 9, for a non-conference tilt. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
