Fifth-Seeded Men's Tennis Season Concludes At CUNYAC Semifinals; Falls To Top Seed Baruch On Sunday Afternoon

Queens, NY - The No. 5 seeded John Jay men's tennis team, who reached this year's CUNY Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) semifinals by upsetting the No. 4 seeded Lehman College, fell to the overall top-seed, Baruch, 5-0, on Sunday afternoon. 
 
The Bloodhounds finish out the season with an overall record of 3-9 and 1-4 in league contests. The Bearcats, who move to 13-4 overall on the year, will await the winner of the No. 2 seed Brooklyn College and No. 3 seed Hunter College matchup. 
 
The Bearcats jumped out to 3-0 lead after taking No. 1 and No. 2 doubles by identical 8-0 counts before earning the win at No. 3 via forfeit. 
 
Philip Dwan earned a straight set triumph over Terrell Rowe at No. 5 singles before earning the forfeit win at No. 6 singles.
