Men's Tennis Shutout At Pratt On Saturday

Brooklyn, NY -  The John Jay men's tennis team was blanked on Saturday afternoon, falling to Pratt Institute, 9-0. 
 
With the loss, the Bloodhounds fall to 1-4 overall while the Cannoneers improve to 6-2 on the season.
 
In doubles play, Hamad Alobeidlli and Samir Ghimire put forth a valiant performance at No. 1 doubles, falling 8-5 to the tandem of Mehul Bhargava and Ryan Nelsen. 
 
Rezwanul Haque rallied back from a 6-0 first set defeat to take the second, 6-3, forcing a deciding third set. 
 
In a back-and-forth tilt, Cole Rudy edge out Haque, 10-7, at No. 3 singles.
 
The Bloodhounds are back in action on Tuesday, April 11, as they will travel to Western Connecticut State at 4:00 p.m.
