New York, NY - College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2025 Academic All-District® men's soccer team over the holiday break, with five members of the John Jay men's soccer team earning a spot.
The Bloodhounds, who qualified for the postseason for the eighth straight season and third consecutive under head coach
Chris Weeks, had
Alejandro De Jesus,
Ian Hartigan,
Karl Menuau,
Charlie Metz, and
Davio Rossilevin named to the team.
For Metz, this is his second straight accolade from CSC while De Jesus, Hartigan, Menuau and Rossilevin are all first-time honorees.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
In all, eleven CUNYAC men's soccer student-athletes were named to the Academic All-District team, with John Jay leading the way with five selections, followed by Baruch with four (Ardin Cobovic, Mitchel Frenkel, Samuel Jacobs, and Diego Sachun), Brooklyn College (Adam Moharam) and CCNY (Yanis Hamdi Pacha) each had one selection.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Dec. 16, 2025 (men) and Dec. 17, 2025 (women).
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with fulfilling the awards for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
