Men's Tennis Drops First CUNYAC Match Of 2025 At Brooklyn

Brooklyn, NY - On Tuesday, the John Jay men's tennis team opened up CUNYAC play with a road tilt at Brooklyn College. The Bloodhounds fell to the Bulldogs, 9-0.

John Jay's pairing of Samir Ghimire and Davio Rossi-Levin fell to Ryan Badre-Hume/Ryan Sham, 8-2, at No. 1 doubles. Michael Farfan and Mariam Caraza dropped an 8-2 decision at No. 3. 

The Bloodhounds fell in straight sets in each singles match. Ghimire dropped a 6-0, 6-2 decision at No. 1, while Daniel Rosa fell at No. 2, 6-1, 6-0. 

Vladimir Ruzanov was defeated by Badre-Hume, 6-0; 6-1, while Rossi-Levin dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 4 to Allen Mardakhayev. 

The Bloodhounds will be back in action on Friday, March 28, as they travel to Newburgh, NY to tangle with Mount Saint Mary.

First-serve is set for 4:00 p.m.
