Lindsay Ogden Collects Fifth Career CUNYAC Pitcher of the Week Honors

New York, NY – Junior Lindsay Ogden earned the final CUNYAC Pitcher of the Week honors, the league announced.

For Ogden, this marked the second time this season and fifth overall that the Loxahatchee, FL native has been named the league's Pitcher of the Week.

Lehman's Patty Sanchez was tabbed Player of the Week while Brooklyn's Katelyn Young was tabbed Rookie of the Week.

Ogden went 2-0 in a doubleheader sweep of Hunter. In in game one she started and went all nine innings of the extra inning affair, allowing five hits and one unearned run while striking out 10. 

She entered game two early in relief and allowed four hits and no runs with six strikeouts to complete the day with 15.2 innings pitched with just one unearned run allowed.

Ogden and the Bloodhounds are gearing up to defend their title as they will be the No. 2 seed in the upcoming tournament, as they will square off against No. 3 seed Brooklyn at 1:30 p.m. from Brooklyn College Softball Field.
