1970 National Rifle Association All-American in 1970, lead John Jay to the number one team in the nation, awarded the President One Hundred Badge (honorary bodyguard to the U.S. President)
1973 Winner of the Service Pistol Championship at Quantico, Va., winner of the U.S.A.F. Provost Marshal Pistol Match
1974 Won nine medals at the Canadian Olympics in Foy, Canada
1982 National Civilian Pistol Champion
1984 Winner of the Frank L. Wymann Memorial Trophy, awarded to the highest ranked civilian pistol shooter

Was a member of the New York Police Department from 1961-1981. Won six New York State Police Olympic Medals during his tenure. Served as a member of the All National Guard pistol team from 1970-80.
