Fit To Serve Overview

In recognition of the first responders who ran into danger on 9-11 and to share in John Jay’s legacy of active service for others, we have launched a one-month voluntary fitness challenge for the College community.


Ways to Participate

  • Bike
  • Roll
  • Run
  • Spin
  • Walk

Time Period
Sunday, September 6 through Tuesday, October 6


Tips to Participate
  • Download or confirm you have a fitness app on your phone or device to track distance traveled (for example: Strava, Nike Fitness, etc.)
  • Screenshot your workout each day 
  • You may submit results on a daily basis by emailing jjcserve@jjay.cuny.edu
  • Check back for updates on the leaders in each category
  • Promote on social media platforms by using #JJCFitToServe to show participation in challenge
  • Have Fun!
