Joe Mandile was named the Assistant Athletics Director for Operations & Scheduling in August 2015. In addition, he is the head baseball coach at John Jay College of Criminal Justice since September 2013. He also held the position of Game Day, Special Events & Alumni Coordinator from 2014-2015.

Carol Kashow said. "With his coaching experience, leadership, and communication skills, we feel he is a perfect fit for the direction we want our program to go in.
Mandile comes to the Upper West Side after spending three years at Division I Fordham University. At Fordham, he served as the 1st base coach and worked primarily with infield and outfield defense, base running, and hitting. Mandile assisted in recruiting, practice planning, scouting, individual/team workouts, and scheduling. He was also the Director of the Fordham University Baseball Camp for two years.
Prior to Fordham, Mandile was on the Manhattanville staff from 2007-2008. In 2007, he was a part of the Skyline Conference Coaching Staff of the Year leading Manhattanville to the Skyline Conference Championship and a berth in the NCAA Division III Regionals. Under his tutelage, the Valiants ranked in the top 25 nationally in team batting average (20) and stolen bases (23).
Prior to coaching, he was a three-year baseball player at Sacred Heart University (2002-04). He later played for the Bay Area Toros of the Continental Baseball League in Houston, Texas from 2007-2008.
"I am excited to be a part of John Jay College and its baseball program," Mandile said. "I look forward to leading the Bloodhounds on the diamond this season."
