Bradley Johnson is in his second season as head coach for the Bloodhounds after serving as an assistant coach during the 2013 season.
In 2014, he finished with the best conference record in the program's last 10 years.
Born and raised in Manhattan, Johnson now coaches for his childhood club, the
Manhattan Soccer Club. Johnson grew up playing for MSC for 10 years. In his time with the club, the team ranked as high as 23rd in the nation and was regional champions two years in a row. After graduating from MSC, he won two state championships with the Kosmos FC. Additionally, his team reached the semifinals of the regionals three consecutive years.
He played three years of varsity soccer at the Trinity Pawling School and was an All-New England player his junior and senior seasons. After high school, Johnson would go on to play soccer at the collegiate level for DI University of Albany and DIII SUNY Cobleskill and Ithaca College.
He also has experience playing in Brazil, Holland, Croatia, and most recently England.
Johnson graduated from Ithaca College with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He then attended Brunel University in Middlesex, England and graduated with a master's degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology In 2014.
While in England, Johnson won a National British University Championship title in futsal and qualified for the European Championships and finished 19th in Europe. He also played semi-pro with Hanwell Town FC. He worked for the English Football Association doing research on mixed gender youth football.
