JP Roncoli embarks on his first season with the John Jay women’s soccer team after spending last year with the John Jay men’s soccer program, serving as the team’s goalkeeper coach. 

He was a four-year member of the University of Guarulhos men’s soccer team, where he played center back. Following his graduation from the University, Roncoli had his first chance to work as a coach, serving as goalkeeper’s coach for a professional team in the Second Division of Sao Paulo in Brazil.

He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and also holds a National USFF “C” license as well as a Level 1 & Level 2 NSCAA Goalkeeping license.
