Craig Davidson

Craig Davidson is in his second season as head men’s tennis coach at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

In his first season at the helm, Davidson enjoyed a fantastic season. He led the Bloodhounds to a 10-win season and four players received City University of New York Athletic Conference honors, including three who were named to the first team.

A native of West Hartford, Connecticut, Davidson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the men’s tennis program. He is a 2005 graduate from the University of Montana, a Division I program in the Big Sky conference where he lettered for a season with the Grizzles.

Prior to that, Davidson attended William H. Hall High School in West Hartford where he was a four-year member of the boy’s varsity team. While a high school athlete, Davidson was an all-state player three times and was a singles champion during the 1997 season.

Davidson’s experience includes experiences serving as tennis pro with the Tumblebrook Country Club in Bloomfield, Connecticut, Missoula Park & Recreation Center in Missoula, Montana, Bumble Bee Tennis in New York City and the Gotham Tennis Academy in New York City.

Davidson resides in Brooklyn, N.Y.
