Kalyssa Daley is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Bloodhounds.
Daley, a four-year starter (2011-2014) for John Jay, was a second team all-star last season. The second basemen totaled a .361 batting average, recording 39 hits, nine doubles, four triples and 17 runs batted in. With an on-base percentage of .546, the Jamaica, New York native ranked in the top five in the conference. A true leader, Daley led the team in hits, on-base percentage, runs scored, doubles, triples and total bases. Out of John Jay's 36 total games, she had ten multi-hit games. In her career as a Bloodhound, Daley has amassed a .282 batting average with 94 hits, 22 doubles, 60 runs batted in and an astounding .407 on-base percentage.
Off the field, Daley has worked for the Department of Justice since the summer of 2013.Â
