Marie Oneto is in her first season as the pitching coach for the Bloodhounds.
Oneto will be responsible for handling the John Jay softball pitchers and catchers. After a successful college career at Brooklyn College, this will be her first collegiate coaching experience.
Along with pitching intruction, she will assist Coach Bonici with all day-to-day activities both on and off the field, including practice and game-day preparation as well as recruiting.
Oneto comes to the Upper West Side after a successful four years as a pitcher for the Brooklyn College Bulldogs. In her four years, the Brooklyn native amassed 264 strikeouts in 420.3 innings pitched with a 3.87 career earned run average.
