Jennifer Ithier

Jennifer Ithier is in her sixth season as assistant women’s basketball coach for the Bloodhounds.

A New York City native, Ithier is a 2007 graduate of fellow City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) rival Hunter College where she was a four year member of the women’s basketball program (2002-2006).

While playing for Hunter, Ithier was a member of teams that won the CUNYAC women’s basketball championship in 2003 and 2004.

She was named first team All-CUNYAC during the 2005-06 season and second team All-CUNYAC during the 2004-05 season. She was also named to the 2005 CUNYAC All-Tournament team. In her four years with the Hawks, Ithier tallied 972 points in 109 career games (8.9 ppg).

Ithier was also a four year member of the Hunter College softball program where she compiled a .296 batting average and helped lead the Hawks to two CUNYAC championships (2003 and 2006). She was named second team All-CUNYAC during the 2006 season.

She is a 2002 graduate of Manhattan Center High School where she was a four year member of the basketball team and three year member of the softball team. As a member of the basketball team, she helped lead the team to the Public School Athletic League (PSAL) semifinals in 2002.

Most recently, Ithier has served as assistant basketball coach for Spence School. She was a varsity assistant from 2006-08 and junior varsity assistant from 2008-09.

Ithier resides in New York City.
