Brennan Taylor is in his third season as assistant coach of the men’s and women's cross country programs.
A native of Freeport, N.Y., Taylor is no stranger to the cross country program having been a four-year letter winner from 2003-06 including the 2006 season where the Bloodhounds won the conference championship.
In addition to his duties to the cross country program, Taylor serves as a college assistant at John Jay where he serves as a supplemental English instructor. He also is employed by John Jay’s writing center as well as the Research Foundation.
Taylor graduated from John Jay in ’07 with a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology with a minor in English.
While a student-athlete with the Bloodhounds Taylor won numerous scholar-athlete awards. He was a recipient of the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Merit Award for outstanding academic excellence as a student-athlete and he was a City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) scholar-athlete honorable mention.
Prior to John Jay Taylor attended Freeport High School where he graduated in 2003. He was a member of the track team where he served as co-captain. He was also a member of the tennis and lacrosse teams there.
He is also a member of the Psi Chi Honors Club.
Currently, he is employed by a bank as an Operations Manager, AVP.
Taylor resides in the Bronx, N.Y.
