New York, N.Y.--The John Jay women’s volleyball team lost three straight games to Montclair State (30-12, 30-13, and 30-22) at the Doghouse on Wednesday evening.
This loss drops John Jay’s record to 0-2, while Montclair State improves to 1-4.
Jennifer Gonzalez (Bronx, NY/ Jane Addams Vocational) recorded seven digs, while Jennifer Tiburcio (New York, NY/ Louis D. Brandeis) and Sara Altamirano (Bronx, NY/ John F. Kennedy) each contributed with three service aces a piece. Andrea Brodski (Rego Park, NY/ Lexington School for the Deaf) pitched in as well with three assists.
John Jay returns to action Friday Sept. 8 at the United States Merchant Marine Academy at 6:00 p.m.
